In 2013 my wife and I saw a gap in the market for a professional party hire company here on the Isle of Wight and so JJ’s Bouncy Castles was formed. Over the years that followed we quickly became the Island’s leading supplier of Bouncy Castles, Soft Play and Party Hire for birthday parties, corporate events, christenings, weddings and public events across the Island. We have built an excellent reputation for delivering top quality inflatables and party hire equipment and a very strong and ever increasing loyal customer base that we are extremely proud of.
We offer Bouncy Castles suitable for children and for adults, Soft Play, Ball Pools, Slides, Sumo Suits, Garden Games, Mascot Hire, Happy Hopperz & Didi Car Racing available for hire throughout the Isle of Wight as well as so much more!
We offer the safest setup for both indoor and outdoor hire that is second to none.
All of our equipment is purchased from UK suppliers of which the majority are manufactured right here in the UK. Since the very first inflatables we purchased back in 2013 we have only ever bought from brand new and only buy top quality.
All of our Bouncy Castles, Slides and Soft Play have current (tested annually) RPII certificates or PIPA certificates (a requirement of our Public Liability Insurance to be tested against BSEN14960:2013). All of our electrical equipment is also annually PAT tested.
We can supply any and all current safety certificates, risk assessments, and evidence of insurance and compliance with that insurance on request, please do feel free to ask! We maintain a very close and friendly relationship with our insurers who we confer with regularly for assurance that we are complying to all the terms of our policy and the expected safety standards.
We rotate our stock regularly so our customers will never receive old, worn or tired units. Most of our hire items are made bespoke to our specification so we can include extra safety features, fun themes and unique inflatables.
Our continued experience in this industry means we are able to offer advice on which hire items would best suit your needs bespoke to each individual event or party. We know the local halls and venues well so If you are in need of some help or advice please just ask, we can certainly help.
We have built up strong relationships with our manufacturers and suppliers and so if you can’t see something on our website that fits with your party or event then just ask us as anything is possible.
We have also made several contacts in the party hire industry here on the Island so if you want something we can't offer, we can likely point you in the right direction. Here on the Island we are lucky to have some very talented professionals such as face painters, balloon modellers, costume princesses and superhero’s that we will happily recommend and that we use ourselves both at corporate events and our own children’s parties.

Don't just hire a bouncy castle, hire a JJ's Bouncy Castle!
Our prices, in a nutshell, no hidden charges, no surprises
Hire price - the price you see on the item description. It includes delivery, setup and collection. This will only be different on three days of the year; Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Please contact us directly for details.
Overnight hire - It’s a £50 flat rate, not per item hired, and is only available when setup in a secure location as deemed so by us.
Late hire - £10 per hour. We will collect up until 7pm for a day hire, if you request we can collect at 8pm for plus £10, at 9pm for plus £20 and so on up until midnight. If we are running behind schedule, and get there a little later, you don’t pay extra. Bonus!
Deposits - In most cases we do not ask for a deposit. If you have an order over £200 then we may at our discretion ask for a 20% deposit.
For wedding hire we do require an upfront refundable security deposit of £50. This is an incentive based deposit that you get back after your big day so long as our equipment is collected in the same awesome condition it was delivered in. Obviously some grass/mud is to be expected and would not affect that deposit. Common sense should always prevail.
Upfront payment - There are only two times we ask for payment in advance of your booking; weddings and face painting and this is required in full. At any other time payment is by cash on delivery. We do not accept cheques on the day of the hire. If you would prefer to pay upfront we have online payment setup through our website and you have the option when booking to pay a deposit or in full, it’s there as a choice and for whatever works best for you.
Prices shown are fully inclusive of delivery, setting up and taking away (please note for the West Wight there is a minimum order value due to the extra distance and time for travel to this area). Travel to the mainland is also possible but does incure additional costs for travel and time.

We are proud members of ‘The South West of England Professional Hirers Group’ - Gold Member -
Membership to this group is by invitation only after 2 whole years of outside scrutiny by its founding member by showing absolute compliance to en:14960 2013. This is an unsubscribed group that has no annual subscription fee of any kind and so no way to buy yourself in. There is a wealth of experience in the inflatable hire industry from its group members and its founding member is a registered inspector for both the RPii and PIPA schemes.
We are proud members of T.I.P.E - ‘The Inflatable Play Enterprise’ -
This is a paid subscription based group that works closely with and alongside the Health and Safety Executive of England (The H.S.E.) in order to help both inform us, the Hirers, and provide a solid link between the industry and central government to move forward with best practices.
We are members of the BIHA - ‘British Inflatable Hirers’ Alliance’ -
A paid subscription group that offers industry advice and encourages good practice within the industry.
